Covid 19 Update
Bavaria Brau Covid Update
Normal life is slowly returning but we remain vigilant and the safety and welfare of all those involved in our network, and of our customers, remains our priority.
Since the start of the Covid-19 crisis, the entire food and drink sector has been one of the hardest hit by this unforeseen tragedy, and I fear it is still going to take a long time to come out of this crisis and achieve a ‘new normal’. Unfortunately, far too many pubs, restaurants and off licenses remain unable to reopen their doors, and we all hope that soon they will return to their role in providing a key service in our cities and local communities.
With no borrowings, and family ownership we have been fortunate to remain open and are still able to provide our great Bavarian beers to the home market. However, we are in no doubt as to the seriousness of this situation.
On the practical front, our sales teams are working from their home base, and the warehouse team are following social distancing, handwashing and full hygiene protocols including masks and gloves being worn when packing all shipments. These extra precautions mean that on occasions our overnight delivery guarantee is not always possible and we really appreciate your understanding and support at this time.
Our brilliant courier partners APC also continue to adopt their ‘No Contact Delivery Practice’ and together we will continue to monitor the situation and our procedures will be updated as and when required.
We would like to thank our valued customers and our business partners who, in the face of their own difficulties, have been incredibly supportive of the actions we have taken to ensure the stability of the Bavaria Brau business.
We are still all in this together and I wish everyone across our industry well.
